Solo Scores

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 5 October 2026

1. About These Terms

Solo Scores is provided by Aled Jones, a sole trader trading as Solo Apps in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). You can contact us at info@soloapps.co.uk. By signing in you agree to these terms. If you got Solo Scores from the App Store, your licence to install and use the app is Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement. If you got it from Google Play, these terms are your licence to use the app. Either way, these terms cover your account and the Solo Scores service.

2. Your Account

You sign in with your Apple or Google account and you are responsible for keeping it secure and for what happens under your Solo Scores account. You must be at least 13 to use Solo Scores.

3. Your Content

You keep all rights in the scores, PDFs and annotations you add. You allow us to store, copy, sync and display them only as needed to provide the service to you and to the people you share them with. This permission ends when the content is deleted.

4. Copyright and Acceptable Use

Most published sheet music is protected by copyright. Only upload and share scores you have the right to use, such as your own work, public domain music, or music you are licensed to copy and share. Sharing a score copies it to other people's devices, so make sure your licence allows that. You must not:

If you believe content in Solo Scores infringes your copyright, email info@soloapps.co.uk. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. Sharing

The owner of a collection or playlist decides who can view, edit or manage it, and is responsible for who they invite. Storage used by a collection counts towards its owner's plan. Removing someone stops them receiving the content, but we cannot recall copies they have already saved or exported outside the app.

6. Plans and Subscriptions

Solo Scores offers a free plan and may offer paid plans with extra features and storage, as described in the app. Paid subscriptions are bought through the App Store or Google Play and billed by Apple or Google. They renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date in your App Store or Google Play account settings (on the App Store, at least 24 hours before). Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. If your plan ends or changes, features it included stop working and you may not be able to add more content until you are within your new limits.

7. AI Features

AI suggestions, such as generated playlists, may be inaccurate or incomplete. Check them before relying on them.

8. The Service

We work to keep Solo Scores available and your data safe, but we cannot promise the service will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or remove features. Solo Scores is not a backup service, so keep your own copies of important files. If we ever close the service, we will give you at least 30 days' notice.

9. Ending Your Account

You can delete your account at any time from Help in the app, or by following the steps on our account deletion page. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and will tell you why where we reasonably can.

10. Our Responsibility to You

If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result of our breach. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses such as lost income or opportunities. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your personal data.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. We will tell you in the app about any significant changes before they take effect. If you do not agree to them, you can delete your account.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there.
